HI, I’M ANDREW THORP KING.

…I’m also a serial failure.

I’ve crashed and burned through bankruptcy…

Been through hell and back in a divorce…

Went through a mortgage default, needed public assistance, and failed at more businesses than I can remember.

But I don’t tell you any of this to gain your sympathy. Nope, I tell you this because I know that after it first sucks, FAILURE RULES!…and you need to understand this too…

Because although the experience and immediate, tangible results of failure SUCK…

If you learn the rules of failure and see beyond failure’s immediate mess, you can turn failure into your greatest asset and move forward into success.

After I hit rock bottom in my professional life—and then my personal life—I discovered there were rules to failure that anyone can use to turn the pain of failure into their secret recipe for success.

Since then, I’ve been a fintech banker, entrepreneur, novelist, bodybuilder, founder of two independent record labels, and now a purveyor of Failure Wisdom for Entrepreneurs, Creatives, and Authentics.

For the past two decades, I’ve fulfilled mentorship roles in multiple leadership capacities across many spaces as an entrepreneur and a corporate executive.

Now, I coach people on how to identify the North Star Pursuit of their Calling Journey and the main areas of friction holding them back from aligning with that Calling Journey. In this, I help people dig deep to work through complicated obstacles and ultimately turn their failures into their greatest successes with a detailed, curated action plan.

And today, you can learn, first hand, all the principles I use to coach my clients (without paying for all the coaching fees!) in my latest book FAILURE RULES!: The 5 Rules of Failure for Entrepreneurs, Creatives, and Authentics.

I’m a serial entrepreneur, a corporate executive, and a creative. And I’m always striving to live my most authentic life.

“Failure burns off the areas of our lives that gain from being reimagined, reconfigured, and reconstructed. It strips us of inefficient foundations, so we can create new ones that serve us better as we move forward into the fullness of our authentic living.”
